full-service Interior design
Great design isn’t just about fantastic ideas (though we’ve got plenty of those) — it’s about clarity at every step. Our process makes decision-making feel like a breeze — we’ll handle the stress, so you can focus on the excitement of watching your space come to life. With us, every detail is in capable hands, and every decision is made with purpose.
Once the design is approved, we finalize detail drawings, coordinate with architects and engineers as needed, manage purchasing, and produce a complete specification book. We stay hands-on throughout construction — weekly site visits, weekly update emails, always advocating for your vision. Then we layer in the final touches that bring it all home.
Implementation
Phase 3
$10,000 minimum design fee
This is where the design takes shape. We develop space plans, a high level budget, design concepts, and a cohesive direction — reviewed alongside trades to ensure it's buildable and grounded in reality. From there, we finalize plans, finishes, hardware, and renderings, and present pricing for all designer-sourced items. One round of revisions included.

Phase 2
Every great space starts with a good conversation. We begin with a complimentary discovery call to dive into your story, needs, and vision, and give you a feel for how we work. If it feels like the right fit, the next step is a paid in-home consultation, where we gather the details needed to shape your custom proposal.

The Contrast process
Phase 1
Full-service interior design means we handle everything, from the initial concept and space planning all the way through material selection, contractor coordination, and final styling.
CID provides full service Interior Design with fees presented in a flat fee format.
Pricing varies based on project size & scope.
The Contrast Half Process
Not ready for full service?
With this option, we offer design through Phase 2 only— giving you space plan options, design direction, and a solid construction drawing set ready to hand off to your contractor of choice (or to build yourself if you’re handy like that). All the thinking, none of the handholding.
Need support when you get into construction?
Hourly consultation is available if (when) something comes up.
