Our home is a labor of love — a nearly 20-year journey of experimenting, learning, and honing my craft as a Cleveland interior designer. At just 1,300 square feet, it's small but mighty: a true study in how a thoughtful layout and intentional design choices can completely transform how you live.

Every space is a bold, colorful reflection of our growing family. The kids' rooms are designed to be a haven, playful and personal spaces they can really call their own. The living room is layered with art that tells our story (can you spot the Star Wars reference?). Then there's the kitchen — my pride and joy, and honestly the heart of the whole project. It's a perfect blend of my farmhouse maximalist sensibility and my husband's modern industrial style, where contrast and texture live side by side in the best way.

We built every space ourselves, and that hands-on experience has given me a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and problem-solving that goes into every renovation decision. There's something about living inside your own project — making decisions at 10pm with paint swatches on the wall and a measuring tape in your hand — that changes how you approach design forever. It's made me a better designer for every Cleveland client I work with.

This home is proof that functional home design and personality don't have to compete. A thoughtful layout, intentional material choices, and a clear vision for how a family actually lives can turn even a small space into something that feels anything but. You can have a home that works beautifully, and still looks like nobody else's but yours.
